Thank you for coming to Confluence! Gallery Hours + Dreamwalk
Hi everyone!!
Thank you to the folks who were able to come to the opening reception of our art exhibition, Confluence: Reimagining Baltimore’s Waterways, last Friday! We had a great turn out, and we are so thankful to the artists, students, and River Reimagining Workshop participants whose wonderful work was featured! Thank you so much!
If you missed the opening reception, don’t worry! Confluence will be at AREA 405 ( 405 E Oliver St, Baltimore, MD 21202) until June 12. Stop by the gallery on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 1-4 pm.
We’re also hosting the first in our series of Dreamwalks this Thursday (May 21st), starting at 4 pm: Jane Jacobs Walk – Jones Falls 2076: Exploring the Hidden River Beneath Baltimore. This Jane Jacobs Walk explores the hidden geography of the Jones Falls corridor and how transportation infrastructure, redevelopment, art, and public space have transformed Baltimore’s relationship to the river over time. Participants are invited to gather by 4pm at Area 405 (405 E. Oliver St) to visit the Confluence exhibition! The group will leave Area 405 by 4:30 pm. Thank you Begoña Pecharroman for hosting and leading the walk!
