Imagine a reciprocal labor exchange in Baltimore
Such an illuminating discussion led this evening at Red Emma’s by @mickel and @Moth . The conversation landed on the importance of building commons that generate value through cooperation: a regenerative circuit of value that works with natural processes and a cultural regeneration enabled by cooperating with each other. Michael is interested in the kind of everyday small-scale doing that can be sustained by reciprocal labor exchanges on the ground in cities like Baltimore. Could this be something that we could help build and sustain via these networks and communication infrastructures we are shaping via the EDC? Thinking, wondering, happy to hear anyone’s thoughts on this!
