Morgan State University students (Studio 3) are joining PARK(ing) Day 2026: Curb the Power: Micro Acts of Civil Joy! 🚗🌿
On September 18, groups of five students will transform curbside parking spaces on St. Paul Street, between 31st and 32nd Streets, into playful, participatory installations, free libraries, tea salons, gardens, nap zones, and more.
These small acts of spatial resistance invite us to rethink the curb and challenge regulation, surveillance, and commercialization through moments of play, gathering, and collective joy.
Students are encouraged to use found and repurposed materials, including cardboard, chalk, model shop scraps, and whatever else they can creatively transform.
Come join their effort and play with their designs!
