“Not in Service,” a new documentary about the history of Baltimore’s public transportation system
I recently watched this powerful documentary by David Sebastiao and Silent Media Group about Baltimore’s Red Line and the long struggle for equitable public transportation.
This is much more than a story about transit. It’s about how transportation, urban planning, environmental justice, racial equity, and economic opportunity are deeply connected. The film reminds us that the way we design our cities shapes people’s access to jobs, education, healthcare, and a healthy environment.
If you care about sustainable mobility, livable communities, and inclusive urban design, I highly recommend seeing this documentary.
